It has been five years since our last pictorial directory.  We are now fifteen years down the road in our history here at PGCC.  And, as you browse through the pages of this new directory with many new people, I want to be the first to give thanks to God for each picture on these pages.  You all have become very dear and precious to Katie and me.  As I turn the pages, my mind and heart prays for each of you, that the Lord Jesus would clearly lead you, fill you, encourage you and give you tremendous courage in these days in which we find ourselves serving Christ together.

 

As I pray for you, I am also aware that God is wonderfully working in my own life to be more supportive and helpful in leading and serving all of you in this church.  My prayer for my own life in these days is that I would be led more by Jesus, that I would also lead more like Jesus, and that we all together would lead more to Jesus for the glory of God.

It has been a tremendous 15 years for everyone involved at PGCC.  Congratulations to all of you who have made this body of believers such a mighty force in the Kingdom of God.  I continue to be amazed by the love you show, not only to those who attend our church but also your commitment to reaching out to others in our community.  As I look at the photos in the new directory, I see people who love God with all their heart and are committed to serving one another in so many wonderful ways.   My prayer for all of us is that during the next 15 years our love for God and others continue to grow more and more.
 
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.  Matthew 5:16

A church does not run on staff alone. Pleasant Grove Community Church is blessed by a host of volunteers who give countless hours every day to ensure smooth daily operations of our church. These include many people with clerical, technical, financial, musical and artistic skills, landscapers, setup and cleanup crews, facility, sound, and the many unseen folks who pitch in whenever and wherever the need arises. Many hands make light work in His service.
